Biography
David Jilich, MD is Vice-Chief of the HIV Centre Prague, which is the out-patient clinic with the biggest cohort of patients in the Czech Republic. HIV Centre Prague is a part of Department Infectious and Tropical Diseases, Na Bulovce Hospital. He obtained his Medical Degree from the Charles University in Prague. He is a specialist in Infectious Diseases and his main focus is HIV infection. He is an active teacher at First Medical Faculty, Charles University. He is also active in many local and international research projects. Dr. Jilich is a member of EACS. He is a member of PrEP/PEP Committee at the Czech Ministry of Health. He is also a co-author of the national guidelines for the management of HIV (2013, 2016). He has published over 50 papers in national and international journals and actively participates at the national and international scientific meetings.
